First of all, thank you so much to the people who left me kind notes after yesterday’s “panic attack”. I appreciate knowing that people are praying for me!
This week’s gift comes from Beth and her family. I tried to include the onesies she sent, but there was a weird glare so I ended up cropping that part of the picture . . . suffice it to say that in addition to the sleep positioner and cute ducky toy, there was a set of 3 onesies . . .

Thank you Beth!
In related news, the birth mom is 38 weeks today . . . which means that Zachary is now “full-term” . . . and I’m getting excited to meet him!
Hopefully I’ll have some news for y’all soon!

And yes, the post title was not actually a word until I coined it . . .
Acronymnity is the ability to turn random words into appropriate acronymns. Such as:
STRESS ~ Seeing Things Really Easily as Super Sinsister
I’ve been having a lot of migraines lately due to the above . . . *sighs* This whole adoption thing is really stressing me out. I’m “convinced” that something is going to happen to Zachary and that we won’t get to keep him.
And I’m not thinking that the birth mom will change her mind. I’m imagining him getting sick and dying before the adoption is finalised . . . or SIDS or being stillborn at 38 weeks . . . In fact, that’s why I changed his middle name to “Gwyllym” . . . “William” means ‘helmet’ or ‘protection’, and so I’m trying to give him protection before he’s even born! My imagination is running wild . . . no wonder my head is hurting so much!
What I really need is to be:
STRONG ~ Start To Rely On our Never-failing God!
Please pray that I can do that successfully . . . because if I continue as I am, I’ll not be able to breathe easily until the adoption is finalised . . . however many months down the road . . .

~If you could choose to be a flower, which one would you choose, and why?~
I’d choose to be a carnation: frilly/lacy, “unassuming” (often passed over for the more flashy/popular rose), but with a beautiful fragrance that is not-to-be-missed!
